Duties

A graphic designer’s job duties cover all aspects of designing graphics and documents. Upon meeting with clients and assessing their needs, a design should be created effectively and efficiently. Their duties include, but aren’t limited to, the following:

  • Working with the client to get the project brief and collecting information;
  • Determining technical requirements;
  • Sourcing graphics and stock images as needed;
  • Editing images and adding graphics using Photoshop;
  • Designing a logo in Illustrator;
  • Designing documents (such as business cards, flyers, brochures, profiles, and letterheads) in Indesign;
  • Presenting designs to the clients; and
  • Solving problems.

Not initially, but once someone shows us that they have our client’s best interest at heart we do allow flexible working hours. We’re outcomes focused so if your work is done effectively and efficiently with no meetings in the time you wish to take off, there shouldn’t be a problem.
