Careers at Solid Projects

Marketing Intern

An internship should teach you how the work is actually done, not just keep you busy. You will sit inside a working agency, help on live client accounts, and get shown the reasoning behind the decisions rather than only the tasks. If you are curious about marketing and want to find out whether it suits you, this is a good place to find out.

The role

What the internship actually is

You will work alongside our marketing team and help across client accounts: social content, research, reporting and the admin that keeps campaigns running. Some of it is glamorous and some of it is not, which is a fair picture of the industry. What we can promise is that you will understand why each piece matters, and you will finish with real work to show for it.

What you will do

  • Help with social media: drafting content, scheduling posts and keeping an eye on comments and messages.
  • Research topics for blog posts, website copy and campaigns, and help draft and edit the writing.
  • Support the marketing team day to day so campaigns go out on time.
  • Sit in on training sessions and client meetings, and ask as many questions as you like.
  • Learn the tools we use every day: Google Ads, Meta, Analytics and WordPress.

What we are looking for

  • Organised, with an eye for the small details that others miss.
  • Clear communication, spoken and written, with a bit of creative flair.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt, because the work changes often.
  • Comfortable working on your own and as part of a team.
  • Real interest in marketing, social media and what people do online.
  • No formal experience needed. We will teach you the rest.
01

Real client work, not filing. Whatever you touch here is something a client will actually see.

02

Someone senior checking in on you weekly, so you always know how you are doing and what to work on next.

03

Interns who do well here get offered a permanent seat. It is how a few of our team started.

No experience yet? That is rather the point

Tell us what draws you to marketing and what you have been teaching yourself, whether that is a social account you run, a course you finished, or something you made for fun.
